Marissa Guggiana La Brecque

Marissa Guggiana La Brecque is the co-founder of The Butcher's Guild, a national organization to promote and preserve butchery. She has authored two cookbooks: Primal Cuts: Cooking With America's Best Butchers (Welcome Books, 2010) and Off The Menu: Staff Meals from America's Top Restaurants (Welcome Books, 2011). She is a fifth generation Santa Rosan.

Marissa Guggiana La Brecque is a writer and co-founder of The Butcher’s Guild. Her latest book, 33 Weekend Getaways in the Bay Area (Emons Publishers, 2016) is available at local booksellers and online.
