Fungi Forager’s Feast & Book Signing Event in Napa

The Fungi Forager’s Feast is a one-night-only event at La Toque Restaurant in Napa celebrating the extraordinary world of wild mushrooms. The evening will highlight rare and exceptional fungi, including the celebrated California Golden Chanterelle (Cantharellus californicus) and the highly prized Matsutake (Tricholoma murrillianum). The program brings together the culinary artistry of Chef Ken Frank and the engaging storytelling of Dr. Gordon Walker, widely known as Dr. Fun Guy and author of Passport to Kingdom Fungi.

Guests will be welcomed with a Champagne reception and meet-and-greet, featuring mushroom-forward hors d’oeuvres crafted specifically for the occasion. At 6:00 p.m., attendees will enjoy a five-course tasting menu, each dish designed to showcase fungi at their seasonal peak.
Optional wine pairings from the restaurant’s award-winning cellar will be available.
