Wild Edibles and Coastal Plant Walk at Sea Ranch Lodge

Join us for a guided foraging experience exploring the seasonal abundance of our coastal landscape. Learn to identify and harvest wild plants like miner’s lettuce, chickweed, stinging nettle, wild radish, and more.

We’ll also explore the unique ecology of the redwood riparian zone, getting to know native perennials such as wild ginger, redwood violet, ferns, and sheep sorrel. Along the way, you’ll learn how to prepare simple, nourishing teas and decoctions using plants like Douglas fir tips, madrone bark, dandelion root, and yerba buena.

The event is finished.
