Duncan Mills Cocktail
TO ANYWHERE…RECIPES FOR MOBILE KITCHENS AND BARS
We camp most often in Duncan Mills Camping Club, on the Russian River in Northern California. The campground is filled with native bay laurel trees, so we forage the leaves to garnish these delicious, fragrant cocktails.
Servings 2 Cookies
Ingredients
- 3 ounces silver tequila
- 1 ounce Dolan Blanc vermouth
- 1½ ounces passion fruit syrup (I prefer Liber & Co. brand)
- 1½ ounces freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 ounces unflavored seltzer water
- 2 fresh bay laurel leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, vermouth, passion fruit syrup and lemon juice. Fill the shaker with ice then firmly close and shake vigorously. Strain into 2 ice-filled cocktail glasses. Top each drink with seltzer and garnish with a bay laurel leaf to serve.
