Tommy Tomlinson

Tommy Tomlinson is the author of the memoir The Elephant in the Room: One Fat Man’s Quest to Get Smaller in a Growing America (Simon & Schuster, 2019). He is also host of the podcast “SouthBound” for WFAE, Charlotte, North Carolina’s NPR news station. His work has appeared in Esquire, ESPN the Magazine, Sports Illustrated, Forbes, Garden & Gun and many others. He lives in Charlotte with his wife, Alix Felsing.
