Ingredients
SERVINGS: Yield: Approximately 1 ½ cups of mix Cup(s)
- ¼ cup ground cardamom
- ¼ cup round allspice
- ½ cup ground cinnamon
- ¼ cup less 1 tablespoon ground cloves
- ⅓ cup ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon finely ground black pepper
Preparation
Mix all spices thoroughly in a large bowl. Divide evenly into 2 or 3 small glass jars. Copy the gift tag on page 56 and tie one to each jar using raffia or colored ribbon.
Shopping note: Look for a retailer offering bulk spices when buying these large quantities rather than loading up on the small jars.
